The
Raptor maintains a stranglehold on combat air superiority.
Constructed of titanium-ceramic alloys, the air-frame allows
fast response and high durability. A grid array of magneto-conducting
cells covers its wings, powered by dual phase-induction plasma
turbines. The grid array vectors gravity away from whichever
direction the pilot chooses, allowing the Raptor to accelerate.
Armed with two solid-state plasma projectors and a homing
missile mount, the Raptor can decimate specific targets very
quickly, although Raptor pilots must be cautious of guided
rockets or Stationary Turret attacks from the ground.

The Raptor is one of the best vehicles in the game. It is
completely airborne, and it can travel to the very top of
the map, out of view of everybody. It is fast, and has average
armor.
The Raptor has two modes of fire. The primary mode is twin
plasma blasters that do a decent amount of damage. Like the
Manta, it’s best to strafe around targets and fire at
them.
The secondary mode is a rocket that heads straight. It is
best used against everything. If you fire the rocket at an
opposing Raptor or Manta, it will home in to them, but other
vehicles and players are ignored.
A good way to attack the enemy power core is to fly in with
the Raptor, pelt it with rockets and plasma fire, then fly
away when you come under attack.
The Raptor is also the only vehicle that can take you to
some of the best sniping spots, such as the edge of a cliff
or the top of a seemingly impossible to reach structure.
