The site internally combusted, we lost 56 servers which is why the site is so slow.

Your computer stores pictures and images from sites so when you revisit them, it loads faster. It'll check if the image has changed every few days or so which is why you could see my old avatar before, but my new one now. But still, it's because you're not clever and you're just pretending you can see it now.
