That's what I do when trying to close Gameguard and it will not close no matter how many times I click End Task in Task Manager and redoing the launcher(as I have done over five different times now) has done nothing to resolve the issue either.

reboot, re-verify the game files and try again

My Fix for Trainer

I can verify that the trainer is working. I was getting game guard crashed every time I launched the game. I have to follow these steps every time I launch the Trainer.

1. Right click on the game in the steam library
2. Click on Properties
3. Click on Installed files
4. Click on Verify files - this takes about 3 minutes
5. If it says that 1 file has been added after verification, then it seems to work
6. Close down steam
7. Re launch steam
8. Launch game
9. Walk around ship for 10 seconds
10. Launch Helldivers2Launcher.exe
11. Launch Aurora
12. Launch Trainer

If that does not work, I was able to get it to work by doing the following
1. Right click on the game in the steam library
2. Click on manage files
3. Click on browse local files
4.. Delete the Bin folder complete
5. Re-verify files wiht the steps above and follow the rest of the steps above

I have also found that is is helpfull if i reset my computer and have NO non essential programs running in the background, including a browser.

Im happy to have a running trainer even though the process is a pain.

A final throught to peoples comments above. There is likely no way getting super credits will be added into the collect max resources part of the trainer. its the monetized element of the game and the trainer devs know what they are doing. This would likely only create problems for them. That beind said, Its pretty easy to farm super credits if you want by using the pop up from map feature along with show points of interst and easy open vaults. if you click on the left vault button alone it opens.
