I have the problem that running the game through just the launcher isn't detecting my keyboard or controller, then it can't connect to the server.
Tried also to run it though Steam and then the launcher and as other people have said it just crashes.
read the new instructions,
1. run the game through steam, run around the destroyer
2 run the (HellDivers 2) Cheat Happens launcher while the game from steam is running.
3 wait for the 3 beep
4 run aurora and active the cheats that you desire.
5 = profit?

For the first thing I would say reinstall the game and/or the drivers for your equipment. Nothing in the trainer should break the ability to use keyboard or controller, so that sounds like something on your end is doing something.

It isn't fishy. When the game cannot connect to the remote server, it doesn't accept any input to skip the intro video. Once the intro video is complete and the error is shown the game accepts input to close the error which then terminates the game.

read the new damn instructions from CH before posting in here.
1. Run the game with the Steam Launcher, walk around the ship
2. Run the Cheat happens launcher for helldivers 2 while the game is running with steam. wait for the 3 beeps
3. Run Aurora and activate the trainer!
For some of us this happens:
Run game using STEAM.
make sure the launcher we gave you is in the same directory as the helldivers2.exe
once you are running around on the ship, run the launcher
three beeps quickly
-> Game crashes to desktop or other error before crashing
then run Aurura
then select the trainer
then activate trainer
I understand that is just the way it is with this release of the game and trainer for some of us and we will likely have to wait for another patch of the game. Just clarifying this bypass doesn't work in some setups.
I am having the same issue just crashed 5 times in a row.
