There seems to be some disconnect between the website and Aurora, I can freely reply to this thread via the app, but am prompted for a reason as to why on the site.
I think I understand why lord DEViL might be aggrivated... if every reply made -here- means a ping over -there-... yeah, I'd be, too.

The video definitely helped, bit of a shame that the compression kicked in right as the windowfocus changed, but it was clear enough.
The numbers change on screen as demonstrated(Open up _any_ store, verify current funds in Trainer, change that number(and optionally hit the lock), buy _SOMETHING_ and watch the new numbers show).
Ima try to find the most ridiculously expensive ship in-game and see if that works.

it -should- if I understand enough of what happens behind the scenes, and will edit this line with my pending results.

Ah, but you use the Unlimited Money toggle to cheeze the system afterwards.
Bit of a roundabout way, but it works.

Oh, whoops... the negative value somehow persists.... even with the Unlimited Toggle, it defaults to a pre-cheated sum, somehow, which means buying warehouses, shipyards, manufactorum etc will not work once you hit zero or less.

The money cheat isn't working for me either, I just end up with negative money.

Issue im having is with the money related cheats, when i activate them in the store the money shows, but when i leave out of the store it doesnt stick , purchases put you in the negative.
