    Being that this game seems to be pushing the "coop" aspect. Not unlike this new wildlands game coming out next month. I have to wonder if this game will ban people for using trainers.

    We will need to find out if this game can play offline full time and find out if your character gets saved on their servers at any point.

    I am starting to see a nasty trend in games lately with this. It all started with that Simcity remake a while back turning our beloved offline single play franchise into an online only disaster. Now a days more recently with Forza Horizon 3 and now Ghost Recon Wildlands and perhaps this new Mass Effect? It's a sad trend. I love online play, but only as an option that I can chose to go into when I wish. Not something thats pushed 24/7 while I play solo. Worse yet, syncing my (trained) character saves on their servers before I have a chance to turn off online mode in settings while starting up the game. Thus exposing yourself to catching a flag on your account.

    Certainly we can do a full firewall block of the game or yank the modem before starting up. Which is starting to look like the only way we can play our modern solo games how we like. At least, without them being taken away from us for cheating while doing solo play (in spite of the fact we bought these games)

    I am hoping we can use trainers for this game without issue. What are all of your thoughts? Do you think we are going to have any possible issues with this game or will it be smooth sailing?

    It has already been stated that the is a single player offline mode by ubisoft, CH has stated that we run the risk ourselves as the game does have EAC protection and has coop capacity.

    The was a command line that forced offline mode by disabling eac, -eac_laucher i believe, but will have to check that, which removes EAC from running & thus forcing offline mode.

    Other games that have this single player part have been supported & I expect CH will continue to support them

    edit for mroe info;
    as per WD2 (similar concept, thus expect similar treatment); Link

    check the thread header, this is the Mass Effect Andromeda area. which i believe hes askin bout

    Bioware's Ian Frazier has confirmed that Mass Effect: Andromeda will be playable offline in single-player mode. It remains to be seen if, like Dragon Age: Inquisition, an Origin "check in" will be required for MEA but it's good news indeed for those who do not wish to be "always online" when playing through the single player campaign.

    I believe that we should be able to have a workable trainer for Mass Effect Andromeda because as was stated in another thread on this site the game can be played offline if you wish to. To me that means that any and all files the game needs in order to run have to be on your computer. This means that any files the trainer needs to modify will be on your computer. Also as far as I know Bioware has never developed a game with anti cheat protection so its not as if we can get VAC banned while playing Mass Effect Andromeda as if it was a Steam game.

    Yes it has already been confirmed that offline SP will be available which I have posted before on the MEA board. Also the game is not revolving around CO OP or pushing it either. Their is MP which is sep from the game story. Also if you are going to compare MEA to DAI. I will point this out even logged online with DAI there was no issues with trainer use at all.

    It is also worth noting that if you turn off the "send feedback to EA/Bioware" feature in game this will likely hide trainer use and make on-line single player saves with the game possible without any difficulty. I don't think there will be any problem in using a trainer for single player, I certainly didn't have any in Mass Effect 3, though obviously using it in the multiplayer WILL get you banned for cheating (at least initially).

    I'm a little apprehensive with the multiplayer in andromeda, I liked it in 3 with friends but the whole unlocking thing was awful so I edited the credits to spam unlock packs to get races, I'm sure they made that impossible this time around but I hope it won't be the case that It'd be needed. I'd love to open packs and play for upgrades, but I just don't want RNG involved in race unlocks... I want my damn asari >.>
