It is also worth noting that if you turn off the "send feedback to EA/Bioware" feature in game this will likely hide trainer use and make on-line single player saves with the game possible without any difficulty. I don't think there will be any problem in using a trainer for single player, I certainly didn't have any in Mass Effect 3, though obviously using it in the multiplayer WILL get you banned for cheating (at least initially).
I'm a little apprehensive with the multiplayer in andromeda, I liked it in 3 with friends but the whole unlocking thing was awful so I edited the credits to spam unlock packs to get races, I'm sure they made that impossible this time around but I hope it won't be the case that It'd be needed. I'd love to open packs and play for upgrades, but I just don't want RNG involved in race unlocks... I want my damn asari >.>

The MP Saph. There appears to be a connection to the SP but it not really required for the user to take part they can send AI Troops for these MP things. But thats only from what I have heard you might wana poke your cute nose into that side.

Don't get me wrong I wanna play the multiplayer I just don't want having to get packs to unlock the races and I don't mind a connection to SP.
It has already been stated that the is a single player offline mode by ubisoft, CH has stated that we run the risk ourselves as the game does have EAC protection and has coop capacity.
The was a command line that forced offline mode by disabling eac, -eac_laucher i believe, but will have to check that, which removes EAC from running & thus forcing offline mode.
Other games that have this single player part have been supported & I expect CH will continue to support them
edit for mroe info;
as per WD2 (similar concept, thus expect similar treatment); Link

Can you post a link to where you read that the game or someone from Origin or EA has reported that this game will utilize Easy Anti Cheat?
PM me when you post as well, if you can.
best,
Cal

Theres no way it uses Easy Anti-cheat, Origin/EA owns Fairfight and that is what they use.
If you check his post he mentioned ubisoft, it might be he thinks the game is by ubisoft and not Electronic Arts
Just so you guys know, there is a semi-feature that i don't believe is required for the single player campaign to be completed, its called Strike Teams, it gives you the option of playing Multiplayer yourself or sending a strike team that does it for you and the cost is well....a time requirement......in the trial, this was like 2hrs or longer, i even saw one that would take 9hrs to complete.
What it gives at the end...i have idea.
I am assuming from other posts about offline mode on the EA forums is that the Strike Teams feature requires you to be online to use it, even the 'strike team do it for you' part.
I am not sure what it gives at the end.
Yeah from what I can fathom these "Strike Teams" are ME:A's equivalent of The War Table from DAI,with the option of you and 3 other players doing the mission yourself.
I can understand the OP's cautiousness though I mean after all Bioware is owned by EA and under its CEO Peter Moore they have pretty much refused to make any game that doesn't have a "online component" DA2 got round this by having your saves stored online aswell as on your Hard Drive.
But now its MP or nothing mostly so Devs can market MT's to the playerbase its why Devs are so hostile to offline or Singleplayer games because we can use trainers to get what want which cuts them out of being able to market MT's to us.
