Just ran into a confusing glitch with the trainer. Today, when I tried starting up the trainer, it proceeds as normal before asking me what program I'd like to use to open up "~Mnn133.tmp" without giving me an option to cancel out of it or even just ignore it, and no matter what program I choose, it refuses to actually start up the rest of the trainer after the program "opens" (as a lot of the programs don't know how to handle .tmp files) the file. I've never run into this before, and none of the other trainers I've downloaded have this happen (and I ran through all of them just before posting this to confirm, this trainer is the only one to have this glitch), so it's got me scratching my head.

(as a side note, I have run through all troubleshooting steps and after this is posted, I'll run through them again just to be sure I didn't screw anything up)

As far as I can tell the trainer creates a temporary (.tmp) file in the "Temp" folder on your drive, and whatever anti-virus program that you are using is automatically flagging and taking down the file.

The solution, is either disabling your anti-virus program or putting a blanket exemption upon the entire folder in your anti-virus settings and then re-extract the trainer from the download file. At least that's what did it for me.

That's not what's causing it. My OS (as that's the only thing I haven't uninstalled) is trying to open the temp file, for whatever reason. When I choose something that can "handle" a .tmp file, I can go into the temp folder and see the file, so the file is being created. I have no idea what's triggering the OS to try opening it, and it's only this trainer (I have around ten other trainers that don't have this happen to them).

One possible troubleshooting steps is to remove any possible file associations set in the registry for tmps. You can follow this tutorial here: Link

I highly advise you back up any reg entries you intend to change\remove before executing. This is a relatively harmless change but it should be stated that you make these changes at your own risk. Neither CH or myself is liable for any damage to your system.

If this particular solution doesn't work for you, I would still whip your google-fu on with emphasis on file association as the issue.

Please let us know if this resolved your issue. Happy troubleshooting.

The trainer uses a part of that temp file to execute. If you do not have admin rights over the windows temp folder or something is blocking the file then you will get this prompt as the trainer process cannot access the file to run it automatically.

Thanks for the help. I'll look into that solution and see if it fixes it. I was able to get it working earlier for about ten minutes before it straight up disappeared from my task bar and went right back to attempting to open the .tmp file again. I have a hunch that I'll eventually get it working and will have to declare that "the program works, and the reason is 'magic'".

EDIT: Before I decided to go through with VictorSixer's recommendation, I decided to reinstall some anti-virus software and do a quick scan to make sure there wasn't anything on the computer. Turns out there were a few pieces of malware stuck on my computer, pretty bad malware (which definitely didn't come from CH) from what the internet says. After removing them, I tried to the trainer again, and it turned out something in that malware was the problem. The trainer works perfectly now.

Tried the change minerals and energy and also the complete all running research, nothing is happening. Did i miss out some steps like having to select something and activating it?

This a truly awesome trainer 0x90 from both a functionality standpoint as well as aesthetically. I love the overlay option and even the shiny info pdf. I truly appreciate the promptness with updates as well! You can tell that you take pride in what you do.

One minor thing I just noticed is that the new trainer is prompting that there is an update. Obviously it can be bypassed and it does reflect v1.2.0 but thought I'd let you know!
