can you please give me an example on how to enter said console commands to add resources as in what to type in to get them added i have never used them befor would be of great help to anyone like me to

i found it and thank you for pointing that out
Bug report: it seems not only the player gets the 99 points / picks, but ALL species. And the random generator will pick everything it can for every other species.

Just create your race with the trainer, then restart the game so the trainer option is reset and pick your race
Looks good, but doesn't the use of console commands stop achievements. Does this trainer negate that issue so I can give myself a bump at the start and still work towards the achievements?
Achievements are bound to Ironman Mode and checksum like most games from Paradox, that's why the console is disabled by default when ironman is on. Should still work as long as you have ironman enabled with the trainer.
