Is it not possible to get a cheat that increases minerals?

you can use the ingame cheats to give yourself minerals

can you please give me an example on how to enter said console commands to add resources as in what to type in to get them added i have never used them befor would be of great help to anyone like me to

Thanks guys. I use the achievements as my long term goals. This adds longevity to games. I use cheats/ trainers to make that experience a little less frustrating.

Its all good though, I have managed to give myself the little boost I needed as per Boris. All good here.

the console cheat does not turn off ironman mode. it doesn't affect your ironman settings at all. All it does is force the game to allow you to be able to enter codes. I have no idea if entering the codes sets off something that disables achievements, but it's my understanding that the achievements are more tied to the fact that you are playing the game in ironman mode, which (without the trainer) doesn't allow you to use the console, and not specifically that you used a console command.

maybe someone can let us know that they used the console with our trainer in ironman mode and still was able to get some achievements, etc.

since the game has so many built-in cheats, it's stupid for us to re-invent the wheel so some people can get achievements that they literally didn't achieve (if they are cheating).

there is a whole thread here about the console commands.. maybe you didn't see it?

Bug report: it seems not only the player gets the 99 points / picks, but ALL species. And the random generator will pick everything it can for every other species.
