Yes, we are and have been aware of this. It's a flaw in the DNSSEC infrastructure. We switched DNS servers and disabled DNSSEC but it wasn't replicated to certain name servers. It's a Network Solutions problem and we have had open tickets with them since early this morning. The easiest fix for the end user is to use their ISP's DNS servers instead of Google or Cloudflare or Quad9 or OpenDNS, etc. until the issue is resolved. Either that or ping cheathappens.edgekey.net and add that address to your local HOSTS file as www.cheathappens.com.

have anyone figured out the problem. i keep getting this offline message and to download offline key for my trainers. this recently started to happen few days ago. any word on a fix?

We understand that some customers have been having trouble connecting to our website and/or authenticating their trainers during the past 12-24 hours. We apologize. The reason for this is due to a change of DNS provider and our registrar Network Solutions not removing the DNSSEC record from the domain name. Many ISP DNS providers do not care about or check DNSSEC records but other DNS providers like Google, Cloudflare, OpenDNS, Quad9, etc do and so if you are using any of those DNS providers then the domain name will not resolve until Network Solutions implements a fix for the problem and it has time to propagate across the Internet.

The non-techie answer is that this problem will resolve itself in time. How much time? We can't say as Network Solutions is very slow to act on technical issues such as this.

Bingo, just defined DNS settings in IPv4. I used Google's DNS entries. Popped right up

Also having this issue. Tried cloudflare and google dns entries, flushed and registered dns cache but still saying website offline when starting halo4 trainer. Website works perfect in any way, however chrome said the download will be blocked because the website was compromised even if I downloaded stuff in the past. Website ssl certificate looks good though. Strange stuff happening 😐

Also did the ping to edgekey and adding it to hosts file as www.cheathappens.com

Hopefully I never lose that off-line key, 😜 quick question, when we all get windows 11 this fall everything should just transfer over correct? 🤔

Most likely will need a new offline key. Any windows update has the potential to nullify it.
