Has anyone used this trainer in survival mode? Is that still considered online if u just make a private match with just yourself in it in survival mode? If i can't use it on survival thats alright. I would just like to know if people have done it?


p.s yes i realized after i posted it that i forgot to have a R in the word Survival.

I did use playing solo, ina local private game created by myself.

Did this last year and didn't got banned so far. So it's ok.

I hope the same thing goes with making a local server only available to friends.

All I want to do is unlock some of the achievements for myself.

Also, is there a way to turn VAC off when you create a server, or can that only be done with a dedicated server?

Yah i heard you can turn off VAC on your own server. If your trying it tell me how you did it and if you got the achievements For survival, like all gold and stuff like that!! Your a pioneer for trying this out!

UPDATE:

It has been a few weeks since my last gold medal on my local server, and I just got another medal today. I haven't even tried to turn VAC off of my local server because I don't think it's needed. Just put -insecure in the command line parameter for safety.

As long as you do this on a local server (friends-only server), just for survival, or go to single-player and do off-line campaign, I think the trainer won't cause VAC to flag your Steam account for cheating.

Just remember: Don't play with this online and don't play with other online friends.

Well i would just to be safe turn off VAC in the servers. I also heard that it takes a couple of weeks for a VAC ban to come into Affect, tell me in a month if everything is alright. Your a pioneer in L4D achievements!!
