The game doesn't even use VAC xD
So don't worry about it.

I think the achievements stop working when you use a trainer.
Not sure though.


btw I'm kinda confused with the codes.
The item numbers aren't right.
Instead of the jewels I get some polearms.

Also how can you create your own items?

No. Trainers do not disable achievements. The console cheats will.

i know this is like a dead thread but i cant seem to get the console to pop up and i done what you said to do.

That's because the folder location is different. Hold the Windows key on your keyboard and press R (alternative to the Start -> Run option), then type "%appdata%\runic games\torchlight\" WITH QUOTES to be taken directly to the folder with settings.txt
