bit of an update for you guys (not trying to derail or take over the thread) but this method also works for new factions. The editor in game is ok...if you like kingdom..but ive created an empire fraction, with all the bonus stuff. Plus you can also mod your created units, but those still need the materials and such.
ive modified my cities to have a space of 100 instead of 50..lots o room now
Sir, where is the city size file located ?
K_CityHubs.xml and F_CityHubs.xml
They're located in \Elemental\data\English\Core Improvements
The city tile limit values you would want to change are
< BuildableTiles >50< /BuildableTiles >
However, you can't just adjust core files without a lot of work and it's not advisable as a patch will overwrite the changes.
Just ripping the core file and modifying the values and dropping it into the mods folder produces undesirable results. It doubles the population caps and prestige.
You can either create the mod file yourself or you can go here
Link and download James009D's file and adjust the values to your liking with your XML editor of choice.
After that drop it in the mods folder and start a new game.
