Once you are in the game, wait a few seconds and then alt-tab back to your normal windows desktop and then open the editor by pressing the key. If the values do not look correct, press the 'X' to close the editor and then give it a few more seconds and re-open it. Modify the values of MONEY, XP, or LEVEL and then press F1 to save the values. Press 'X' to close the editor. Please note that LEVEL might update itself based on your XP during portions of the game. You can use the vending machine to update your current info by buying and drinking a soft drink.
