Well, I was hoping for more close combat hand-to-hand moves and here it's just "use as human shield". It is useful, yeah, but Dog Days would be more interesting with variety of close combat kills. But I still think K&L DD is a good game, not the best but a good one.

I can't speak for the length of the game just yet, as I am still playing it, but the graphics are on par with current releases. If you turn OFF the FULLSCREEN EFFECTS and turn ON the STEADY CAM you can play the game with all its graphical goodness and no motion sickness.

Hm, Steady Cam. Thanks for the tip. I didn't even know what was that.
I was somehow impressed by the demo. The main menu is just like Half-Life 2. It's beautiful but the game is, meh. Maybe if it was released years ago, then it would be great, but not today. Although special effects are quite nice, lights could shine a bit better, but I dislike this tunnel gameplay, where there's only one path. The environment ain't big. I expected more. I get a bit claustrophobic, so then I play Mirror's Edge or AC II. Feel the open space

to be honest i'm not complaining about the gfx...because that is somewhat bearable if the gameplay is decent..which in this game is not. i often found myself getting caught in tight corners or staring righ in the face of Lynch which was quite frustrating.

I really like the style of the game a lot, though i wouldn't really consider it to be "gonzo" in any way. Moreso just an adrenaline-fueled experience, much like the Crank movies. I found the game exceptionally difficult on PC, as the computer AI for bot enemies, especially in the campaign, is just ridiculously good. I would often get flanked by the enemy and have to pull back, let Kane do the talking for a minute. I also found it very difficult to move forward and grab ammo, as I used up quite a bit of ammo each mission trying to kill the little buggers. I never got shot whilst behind good cover, but there are a lot of bad positions that Lynch apparently considers cover. I've had bullets clip the edge of cover and hit me, but not go completely through. Although Lynch's hair looked a bit stiff and pixelated, everything else looked top notch on my machine.
If I had to say what I wish this game could have done, is definitely be more open ended and lengthy, and have a better way to grab ammo/keep ammo. Other than that, it's a bit intense, but a decent enough game.
See no evil, do no good.
