Okay yea, Im a ****ing noob, but when I press print scrn I can't find the screen shot.
Am I doin it wrong?

Paste it in paint and the go to File > save as.

I can't find anything to paste, I just press print scrn and the mouse flashes, then nothing. And I don't think i have paint on this computer.

When you press print screen it takes a temporary snap shot, it's like when you copy a piece of text; the only you can make it reappear is if you paste it.

Some games saves pics when you hit print screen button and place it in a folder (like warcraft has a screenshots folder). Try Google and see if you can find any help.
Edit: I mean google like "where are screenshots in "insert game name here" or something like this

I'm glad I found this thread. I always felt too embarrassed to ask. I knew it involved pressing the Print Screen button, but that was it. There was nothing to indicate that anything happened when I pressed it. I wish the shots were automatically stored in a folder like with games that have a screen shot function built in instead of having to paste it in MS Paint and save after every shot. There must be a program or something to arrange to have all screen shots automatically saved in a folder when you press the Print Screen button so I don't have to paste it in Paint each time.
