I have used the latest trainer before and had no problems until I took a little time off from gaming and when I re-downloaded the trainer I get a virus message from AVG. I see that a lot of people are having the same problem in the other locked forums or I would have commented on them. My question is, How do you turn the AVG off? I have looked in all the obvious places and I don't see an option to suspend....
Thanks in advance to any help....

idk if u resolved ur problem but same thing happen to me. its not a virus its ur anti virus software. when u want to play and use the trainer disable ur resident shield. i have avg so that worked for me. every time i reactivate it. it says the trainer is a virus so ignore it and disable it so i can use the trainer.. hope it helps

Thanks a lot, noone ever told me how to disable avg. Looked around for a bit before but never found it until you pointed the resident shield out. I feel somewhat embarrassed for not finding it sooner. But to my defense, all previous anti-virus scanners that I've had had the right click then disable line rather then having to search for it.

The only way to turn AVG off completely is to uninstall it. I would recommend switching AV products (MSE usually has the least compatibility problems with trainers)

I like AVG. Now that I can disable the AV just so I can play without disrupting anything else makes it even better IMO.
