Here is somethin i found by surfing the net,
AudioSurf Cheat: Cheat List Right-click an audio file and select 'Properties'. Choose the 'Details' tab and type the following cheats in after the song title (not the file name). The title block should look like "song name [cheat]" without quotes. If you right-click an audio file you can enter the "Properties" menu. Choose "Details" and enter the following cheats after the song title:
songtitle [as-bankcam] - Banking Camera songtitle [as-caterp] - Caterpillar Track songtitle [as-first] - First-Person Mode songtitle [as-nogrey] - No Grays in Mono Mode songtitle [as-swind] - Sidewinder

it does work but there is a catch, it's not registering the song to the list

That's probably because using the list means that you're playing against other people rather than a strictly single-player thing. In other words, using cheats to beat people playing the game "properly".
Personally, I like cheating when it gives me more enjoyment of a game, but I don't want it to affect other people's enjoyment. Presumably that's why.

None of these are cheats and are just tag modifiers - officially supported and well known within the community.
Using them will in turn lead a player to setting a score on a leaderboard specific to the song with that tag modifier in it. There's no way to cloak the presence of the modifier and use it to get on the non-modified boards (at least, no easy way).
So technically you could tag an entire playlist with [as-caterp] and ride it through, then share the same songs and playlist with a friend and compete with them to see who can dethrone who the most, etc.
