My brain cells are slowing down because I will hit the big 60 this month but I figured it out, had to summon task mangr while in game and followed all the steps and now it works just fine Again thanks for your commitments to us aging gamers

where do i find the CHLFD2 dat file ? it tells us to delete it but not where to find it

that file is created in the same directory as your trainer. if you are just starting the trainer for the first time, then that file does not exist. it is created BY the trainer. it will be in the same directory as the trainer.

I tried the auto updating trainer today, and when I hit F1 I do hear "trainer activated" like expected; then when I hit any of the listed numbers I do hear the "ON/OFF," voice, but the actual functionality of the trainer is not there. None of the cheats are working. I have followed the instructions countless times, and even tried other ways, but no luck. I don't get why it's not happening for me. All of my trainers are on my desktop [and all of the others work so location shouldn't be the issue]. I am running Windows 7 though that shouldn't be the case either.

game keepes crashing tried to redown load trainer no lock can any one help

I've got the same issue as Kolossus - seems the 8/20 patch has changed stuff once again - While the trainer doesn't crash (you can press F1 as well as any option) but none of them work.

Tried deleting the file and auto-updating as of this morning 8/21 - same behavior.

Once again we RE-DOWNLOADED the entire game only to find that our auto-updating trainer is WORKING PERFECTLY with the latest patch. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY and read the troubleshooting guide.

The "Auto-Updating" trainer is working well for me. Thanks for putting it together for us!
