My favorite was The Tau Empire, once you kept them at a safe distance from melee combat (since their pretty crap at it) they own with their firepower.

With my aggressive play style my heart belongs to Spacies or Chaos but my mind tells me that the Tau can put more firepower on the board early and that's when I usually capitalize on other races not being able to amass as many troops so early. So Tau is the army of choice for quick victory.

I like the necrons the most they are the first tt army I played too, Second would be the space marines

As an actual WH40K gamer from table tops to PC. The Necrons are a force to be recond with. But those that know me I am Imperial Guard all the way.

Imperial Guard. wimpy men, but absolutely devastating once you're loaded up. Admittedly, until then, you're kind of fodder for the real armies.

I will be hard pressed to decide over Spesh Mahreens or Necrons as my second choice.
