Hey people, I created an account just so I could ask this but, I brought a copy of Company Of Heroes Gold Edition, for some reason every time I try to play it it comes up with a "Please insert your company of heroes: opposing fronts CD." This is the gold edition of the game, so it's all in one DVD. I know you can play this without the DVD, if you sign up to the thing they've going, keep your game up to date and have an active internet connection, but i don't have internet on my gaming computer. Can it be fixed? And if so, how?
p.s. game is legit, i brought it from BIG W.

so i take it that nobody has any idea what is wrong. given that other topics posted later than mine, on subjects that have been answered many times on other threads have been answered. I'll check elsewhere then.

I am just going to go ahead and state (what appears to me to be) the obvious. Your disk may be defective. Although I am playing the US version, I cannot see why it would request this. My disk has never asked for this. Options for you should be exchange the disk; download all patches and see if it rectifies the issue; or DL a no-dvd crack. Also, is there any mention of the issue in at the game's website forums Link ? Perhaps, if the disk is not in fact DOA then someone has solved this problem. Regardless, good luck.
