Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Message Board  

If you haven't noticed, after RUSH on the game types is SQUAD RUSH. This is a 4v4 version of rush with only 2 bombs to destroy or defend.

My strategy I employ can level your classes quickly but is most effective for destroying by using the ASSAULT class.

First: Put a SHOTGUN and C4 on whatever class your using. If you have the shotgun and explosive upgrades put them on also.


Attacking-

Using the Assault Class: Position yourself in an area where the enemy CAN NOT SEE YOU. Now put down your ammo kit under you and equip C4 and start throwing C4 onto the bomb. After you get 6 on (the max amount you can throw at a time) get away and detonate the C4. Come back in and get more C4. Now do this over until the bomb is destroyed.

Without the Assault Class: The same as with the assault class but instead of going back after you go into the house and attempt to plant the bomb. If you die just repeat step one of plating C4.

Defending-

Position 2 of your players on the inside of the house with shotguns and 2 outside with any class with an automatic weapon. The two inside the house need to watch the doorways carefully and watch for C4 coming in the windows. The two outside have the big job. It consists of a few parts.

-Spotting and Killing

Killing is number one. You need to be watching for people throwing C4 and kill them. You also need to kill people as the come towards the house so your guys inside don't get overwhelmed.

Spotting is number two. If you know how to play Bad Company 2 you know how to spot, if you don't, hit the BACK button if an enemy is in you crosshairs. Spotting allows you team inside to know where the enemies are coming from. Part of this job is also physically telling your team where the bad guys are coming to.



That is my strategy for squad rush. The good part about this is you can do the attacking on your own sometimes while your teammates kill the defenders or try to plant the bomb with failed attempts.
