Im having the same issue where I bought the trilogy through origin and the Mass Effect 2 trainer cant find the game.
I really hope you bring one out for the Origin ME2.

This may be related to OP. I can activate the trainer at main menu or in game but when I try to press any of the NUM keys, I get nothing. I have both game and trainer as admin and tried to just run the trainer as admin. I still not able to use any of the options.

Any advise is a plus. Thanks

These trainers are not made for the Origin Trilogy verison. You could try using the No/DVD fix. (Please note, these sometimes are not always updated).

Also note do not use any mods with the game as it to can effect how the trainer works.

Oh and Ryhan. If you are using the steam version. I advise you to run steam in the admin mode aswell. Also make sure you have turned off all your security programs and made sure you have the correct version. If you have done pretty much everything in the Trouble shooting guide at the bottom left of the screen.

Then there is something on your system blocking it from working. But what we dont know.

Was running the game as admin but not steam. That did the trick

If you get the game in Steam, you can download the dlc's from Bioware's own site and install the dlc's yourself. It works in steam with all dlc's and the trainer for steam works fine

If it's just a matter of the EXE having a different name now, it seems that a new Origin version of the trainer would be dirt-easy to make. Regardless, the title is still listed as active, so...
