Hi all,

if you're still having troubles and running steam with DLCs installed, just apply the noDVD fix, and then use the non-steam version of the trainer with the instructions which HonestGamer gave, and be sure you run the game through the masseffect2.exe found in your "binaries" subfolder. Apply all else as HonestGamer said.

Worked like a charm for me

Seems as installing the DLCs under steam messes up the version number recognition (at least for the trainer), as it would have inconsistend parts.

I guess this is exactly my problem.
And I am bad in install such stuff. DL'ed yesterday from Game Cop0y World but got an error message about a nvtt.dll ( ? ) file is missing. Pretty sure I did something wrong 😵
Simple putted the ME2 NOCD into the game folder.
Also english isn't my native language so the technically explains I could have probably missunderstood.

I've been playing ME2 for a few days now with all of the DLC/patches and the trainer has been working fine... until now.

Now when I load up the game and press F1 to activate the trainer nothing will happen. If I exit the game and press F1 the trainer will state "Game not found" so it is registering the keystroke. Not sure what to do about this.

i have all if not most of the DLC packs but i have a similar problem. I run the trainer, then the game. When I activate the trainer the game crashes. Can anyone walk me through fixing this.

Since I am quite sure you will find the solution there.

Not sure which version of the game you are running but I am running the Digital Download from EA and I have to use the Steam/D2D version of the trainer, the other one crashes the game every time. So if nothing else download both copies of the 1.02 trainer and see if one of them works for you. I am running it on Windows 7 x64 machine with admin permission and XP SP 3 compatibility mode.

READ THE LINK! nothing is working. even added a mirror patch for 2.o still game crashes. guess now to locate other means of hacking the game.
