I am in the palace and is stuck, i can not get the door to open to get to the next area, after i kill the shiny guys on the top of me, nothing happens, does anyone know about this and how to fix it?

The door will not open for me, after I kill the three shining guys, and the rest of the sand guys.

Hey there are three shining guys,right?If that so the gate is not opening even i pull the lever.Why i don't I'm stuck there too.
