Mechwarrior 4: Mercenaries Message Board  

Hey where do we download the trainer to so that it works with the free mechWarrior downloadable game from MTX, because it keeps telling me that it can't find the game and please dont tell me to go to the trouble shooting page because I have been there and did not find any answers...So please can someone help me out with this by telling me how to load this trainer PLEASE....Thanks

FYI: I am a disabled Vet with a Traumatic Brain Injury so please keep that in mind when explaining it to me...I have a hard time understanding what I read and comprehend.... Thanks again...

7. Post trainer troubles in the appropriate topics!
Before you post a topic that states "OMFG MY TRAINER ISN'T WORKING!" please take note of which topic to post in and how to properly report a broken trainer:

- Before posting a generic "OMFG TRAINER NOT WORKING" go through every single step in the trainer troubleshooting guide. This is a must-do before topics are allowed and you will receive warnings for failing to do this.

- DO NOT POST ABOUT CHU TRAINERS BEING INFECTED WITH VIRUSES! We have a whole page dedicated to explaining this on the download page. Read it, know it, love it. No whining when you get warnings because you didn't follow rule 8.

- If those two did not help you, post in the main trainer topic. Include EXACTLY what you were doing when you were trying to activate the trainer, a list of all your running processes, which version of the game you are using, and which version of the trainer you are using. If you post generic "trainer not working" expect a lame answer as you didn't give us enough information for a diagnosis. If there is a new patch, you must include the new .exe file to be assisted.

I did go through all the steps from the trouble shooting guide and it did not fix the problem. I have the correct versions of the game and the trainer. I downloaded the trainer to the "C:\Program Files (x86)\mektek.net\Mechwarrior Mercenaries - Mektek Mekpak" folder and when I try to use the trainer in game, its says "the game can not be found" so I do not know what do to fix it and like I said I am disabled and I have a hard time understanding what I read, so I might have not understood what the trouble shooting guide said I have to do to fix this problem. I really have no idea what else you need me to tell you about what I did ti try to fix my problem. so if you could please be more specific about what you need from me or if you have an answer for me that would be great instead of just copying and pasting your remarks. Just remember the fact I am disabled and have a hard time comprehending what I read.......
