It depends, if you were filling up this glass to the halfway point, then I would say half full.
However, if you were drinking from a full glass to the midway point, then its half empty.
At least, thats how I see it.

Well I don't know according to me there isn't such a thing as half-empty. It just sounds illogical to me to say that. I actually judge the glass based on the presence of liquid not the amount of it. If there is any liquid in the glass, whether it's 1/4 , 2/3 or 1/2 I see the glass as full of liquid. 1/3 full, 1/4 full, 1/2 full etc.
