I just bought the THQ pack from steam and this game came with it. It says it's activated in the game but it doesn't work. I put it in the actual game folder and have a shortcut to the trainer...any suggestions?

did you downloading right trainer? problem might be that or trainer version is not right

The 1.0005 version seems to work fine with what you get on STEAM.
