I am not certain if all of us are getting the same issue with the NPCs blocking the way. Not all quests are recorded too. Eg One side mission was to have three citizens following you in hope to find a villiage for them which is not recorded in quest log that said no matter what town/village you go to they are stuck with you until they get killed I suppose. Another serious bug I find is NPC will block your way to get out one of those house in various town. You cannot walk through the NPCs like some RPG are simply made that way to avoid that kind of issue.One possible temp fix might be a no clip mode in debuging command which I have no idea the coding for that.
Side track:
Looking for a better RPG game try Torchlight lesser deadly bug and better fun.
Please feel free to command a possible solution or what you think of the game/topic.

You can ask them to stand aside.
NPC that are from your party can be moved by yourself, and NPC which are from your party but only follow you move by themsekfs, if you wait a few minutes. I was blocked only once, by a NPC which was fallowing me, and i killed him.

Thanks for the hint. I find google does not show how to move the npcs in this time. I understand other non following npcs you can ask them to get out of way. been trying to get the ones following me to move but they stay so I did tons of reloading and saving the game. I will try again maybe I am missing a clue or keystroke to move them good for nothing npcs.
I will report back again hopfuly I can find a solution for this particular issue at least.

guys, there is nothing wrong with the game. In order to talk/move a NPC who is in your party/ or is following you all you have to do is hold left CTRL and click the desired NPC. When you hold CTRL you will see a small chat bubble near the mouse cursor. That means that you can talk with the NPC in your party/ following you. From what i've seen, you cand make them heal in combat, move aside, appoint as guard/captain/healer/blacksmith/merchant or have a small chitchat.
The game is great, in all aspects ( major improvement since konung 1 ) . Hope it helps!

I think i'm close to finishing the game, but i can't get through the last barrier in the ruined city (fallen flying island lol). Any thoughts ?

I am about to reply back to this post saying that I have found a solution yes like you said left ctrl while move over the NPC will bring a dialog box thus allowing you to ask them anything. Thank for your reply I had not expect it at all.

As for your concern, I doubt I can provide any immediate support. You seem more capable than me at this point. None the less, I will keep in mind and search for a solution to that fallen island issue. Hopefully we can get it back to his/her feet. lol
