I have a quick question regarding the trainer: When activating the 1 turn construction/recruitment function, is the build time supposed to stay at 1 turn even after the function turned off after 6 seconds?
Say if, for example, I build a small fort in one city, wait for 6 seconds, and then build another fort in a different city, the latter will also only take one turn to complete. The only way to restore normal building times is to restart the game.
Is everything working as it's supposed to or am I in fact encountering some sort of bug?
EDIT: After further testing, I've found out that the 1 turn construction function does in fact work for the AI as well. I tested this by activating the function, ordering a road and then waiting for the cheat to deactivate after 6 seconds.
The following turn, not only my roads were constructed in one turn (where it normally takes four), but a nearby AI settlement did the same.

This issue came up with the Empire:Total War trainers as well. My understanding is that they have done everything in their power to keep the AI from being able to take advantage of the trainer options. I can verify that once you enable one-turn construction for any particular building that building will always build in one turn until you exit and reload the game. It must be something in how the game is coded and there doesn't appear to be any way around it.
I'm pretty sure the AI does not get the benefits of the add money option, so being able to build in one turn doesn't give them much of an edge anyway.
Personally I prefer the trainer to work the way it does. You only have to activate the trainer once and all your cobbled roads build in one turn even after two hours of playing. Beats hitting the "3" button every six seconds as you scroll through 20-some cities.
