Does someone else experience problems in gameplay? I have encountered many problems. When you move forward, suddenly you’re looking the wrong way and the mouse is freezing in the menu or moving very slow. At the same time I had an error about the save game going corrupt and if I want to erase it. So all in all it's quite unplayable.
Game purchased via legal download from Gamesplanet, but they do not offer tech support. SEGA on the other hand does offer support but have not received any ideas from them either. Main problems:
-stuttering all the time (1 sec or all the time) -mouse control almost crazy, jumping from one place to other -same as someone had with the cameras, you head up the wrong way if trying to go forward -if use buttons still it stutters
Have tried everything from adjusting apgame.ini etc. to running game in compatibility mode but nothing seems to help. As for now I can't play the game at all because of the problems.
My rig: Core 2 Duo 3.8 GHz, Win 7 64 bit, 4 gb memory, ATI radeon 4870x2 (tried with 10.4 and 10.5), installed directx and c++ separately and nvidia physx, same problems.
Hope someone could post some ideas what to try to get it working. Had no issues with activation etc.
The trainer even makes it worse. The stuttering and freezes are 90% frequent. Maybe I could post the APgame.exe to you, to check if you have made the trainer for the same executable.

I'm not using any cracked exe. I have bought the game, installed and activated via SEGA. And for the record, those who uses a fixed cracked executable has no more DRM issues =stuttering.

try In APEngine.ini (C:\Users\username\Documents\Alpha Protocol\APGame\Config) change OneFrameThreadLag=True to OneFrameThreadLag=False MinSmoothedFrameRate=20 MaxSmoothedFrameRate=30
as for cracked.exe ive started using it for trainer as well as it loads quicker too

Yes, I've noticed the lag and the mouse jumping as well. This is probably do to the on demand loading the game maps and npc characters, it doesn't handle it very well. I'm guessing Sega will have this problem fixed in the update if they release one. As for the DRM, stick with it or the game makers will just get more cruel and unusual and do the entire Ubisoft ( Ubifail ) always online or no game method of things, which I hate.

Sorry Blazewamp, it didn't help. After I changed the UseBackgroundLevelStreaming=false OnlyStreamInTextures=true then the game launched but didn't load save game anymore (froze).
I'm totally screwed with this game. Have tried to solve things in approx. 26 h. Unsinstalled it and reactivated etc. Played games for 15 years and never anything like this. Hope someone else has an answer. I could try as an extreme measure to format Windows, but it's a lot of work to install all programs and drivers.

I think it's because companies are more worried about pirates so they do all this DRM which ironically makes the game hard to play. I've heard that the cracked exe helps in the lag and jumping.
