The problem is that everytime i use the trainer now the prices of buildings go way up. What i mean is atleast in this mission i pressed the button and now my Tenant costs 1990099909$

Now the problem started when i was playing Industry Giant mission (classic mission) and i did not activate the trainer money option from start but bought few items and got my money to go to negative value -8000 or so then i activated and now some of the buildings are unbuildable because of the cost.

Well i did think that restarting the game would allow me to get the trainer working again without the hyper inflation but that is not the case now whenever i activate my trainer (atleast in that mission) i get same hyper inflation prices on some buildings like airport tenant etc...

Ok little bit more testing revealed that it is not just that 1 mission now even missions that i have completed before have that same hyper inflation gimick when you activate the trainer even those missions that i allready have completed (with trainer).

This is truly interesting.

Oh i forgot to mention I am using Steam version of the game.

It was never tested on the Steam version, only retail.

Unfortunately i am unable to get my hands on most retail versions so online versions are only thing i can get.

But anyway i now meddled with it little bit more and i think i will get the trainer working again if i do reinstall and allways activate it before going to negative numbers (hehe worked fine for 5 missions so i would quess the game code is pretty much same with retail and steam)

Plus it was my own fault to let the wallet to go on negative status before activating

Dunno what exactly got "damaged" but my next try to get it to work again is reinstalling original and then absolute power (allready tried to delete save folder)

ok got it working again after Reinstalling and deleting all the files related to tropico from user\appdata\Roaming\Tropico3

Its your savegame mate.. they are Cracked(Smashed(?)).. so everything saved is Now corrupt..
Start a new profile to correct it, that should Reset the broken info..

Or if you are unlucky you need to reinstall the game..
