Empire: Total War Message Board  

I'd give it a 10 if I had a better CPU, now it's only a 7 (because I can't play battles).

Pros:
- Naval battle
- Huge map in TW series
- Better graphic compared with its prequel
- Tech tree
- Cool musket battle


Cons :
- No cheats code ANYMORE
- Bugs glitch crash
- Limited fund for custom battles thus hugely limiting the custom battle
- Very lame unit design
- Need huge HD space
- Lame & smaller user interface
- Lame agents
- No intros for each nations
- Boring battle
- Too many useless nations, instead of focusing to make each nations looks balance & worthy to be played
- Prussian looks so lame + useless in the game

So I can only give this game MAX rate as 5 !

They should remake Shogun Total War though... but I heard so many rumor about next TW series will be more focused on Battle of Independence series or USA Civil Wars series...ugh, looks boring since musket warfare definitely need a lots of perk to compromised its static warfare (its still have maneuver battle but compared with Medieval, its looks boring since each nation almost fielding same cavalry units)

When CA introduced DLC packs to the game, those units just skewed the game balance and pretty much threw it out the window with near never retreating Marines who down to 3 men then retreat while they can decimate an entire Line regiment of 120 men...

yea specially ROME - TOTAL WAR and meieval were great strategic games ever empire damned it napoleon a little better but still empires expansion game - and plz tell me y u all love shogun total war ?!! is there a way to download it ?!

Gamersgate (google for it) it's less than 10 bucks on there at the moment. Most people like it cause it was the 1st and changed the way large scale battles happened. My Hubby says it's a must have game. What could be cooler than seeing like 10k Samuari charging at each other on a battle field. Or better yet a favorite tactic my hubby loved to do, sending his ninja's to go assassinate a rival Daimyo.

Anyway don't be cheap it's worth the 10 bucks and I'm sure you'll understand why folks love Shogun...

10 - Best total war game to date. The ship battles are awesome. People complain about the AI, but I don't seem to recall any Total War game having a great AI. I didn't care for Napoleon, it's just one really long scenario with no really new units or anything.

FYI - They are already working on Shogun 2. Expected sometime next year. Do a search for the teaser trailer.

4..and that too because i was feeling generous. i don't like Turn-Based RTS. i like a real RTS.
