I just downloaded the new DLC called "Units of the Coalition". And now my game crashes during traine

Well same reason here. However if you want to control those game files for tweaking, etc...You can go to your STEAM directory in Program Files and from there to steamapps in which your games gets installed.

thx for the advice, but that's not what I meant... I'd like to update my progs only when I want to, not when ANOTHER prog decides to; I'd like to start my game in 1 minute (and YES, I do have a pc that can start a game like NTW in less then 1 minute) without having to wait 15-20 minutes for steam update, steam loading, game update and for what?! CTD!!! nah STEAM will be my enemy forever!!!

You can disable automatic updates for each of your games by right clicking your game in the game list and going to properties -> updates =)

I always have auto updates disabled, and I run Steam in offline mode, but yesterday I went online to download the new DLC and BOOM! the auto update was ON!!!

But It's not so bad... right now i'm at work and I won't came back home until 19.00, so i'll wait the new trainer, using the little trick of the old, unpathced napoleon.exe to play the game!!!
