For me the lenght of the story was a bit on the short side. Completed the game in 5 hours on realistic. But thats the only negative thing I have on this game. Everything else is just fine
Only thing ubisoft still needs to work on is multiplayer/matchmaking. Don't release a game if it's not fully functional...
Someone should spray that on the Ubisoft HQ.
Alright, I'll weigh in. I am a very dedicated old school Splinter Cell fan, and though I was a little disappointed that a good portion of the original mechanics were removed, I was a fan of Conviction as well. They're two different games. You really can't blame Ubisoft for trying, they wanted a more accessible, action oriented title.
At least we did't get Fisher with emo hair as originally planned.
i'm with u on this 100% u can't blame them for trying to make the series more accessible to gamers who like spray and pray type game play and who don't have the patience to wait in the shadows for the right moment to make a stealth kill(which is y i loved the series). over all not a bad game at all.

Agreed, too darn short to be honest - although the point and "skirmish" options work really well. Shame the online part doesn't =/
Oh, and *only* thing - the mp/matchmaking?
*cough* DRM *cough*, had some severe ISP problems all weekend, so sh*t out of luck playing any UBIsoft game. I'm trying to cling on to the single-player, single-computer experience, but it seems like it's dying a slow, painful death. (Just me being misanthropic, I suppose.)
