    No, but they don't hurt.

Also, this is not a thread about your computer. If you want to show off, start a new thread on the GD or OT boards.

This game was pretty short. I had hoped for it to be a little longer than past SC games. But on the whole, it's a fairly good game to get.

I guess me and Gamespot are wrong and this Snikkers person is right? Get real! This game sucks and I'm not the only one who obviously thinks so. You guys must be smoking something or have a completely different game than the rest of us.

Gamespot Review Score = 6.5 out of 10.0

who died and made Gamespot and IGN boss huh? u've played the game and didn't like it..that's fair...but don't quote Game Review site rating as the definitive judgement on a game. most hardcore gamers know these review sites and their ratings all too well.

I haven't had a chance to play the game yet as I work 65 miles away from my home and don't get to be home until weekend "how sad"
but I have seen videos and the game to me looks awesome. Besides I like that they changed the game up a bit. I don't like games that are linear, only can get one way through the mission, I like games that you can have multiple possibilities to complete your mission. I was totally disappointed by Battle Field Bad Company 2. The graphics in that game were awesome, but the game play didn't impress me to much. there was only a certain way that you could complete your mission. Which makes the game to linear.

    What is everyone Computer Configuration.
    I built my own system.

I have a Asus HDMI Mother Board.
AMD Phenom II Quad Core Processor running at 2.3 GHZ per core.
6 Gigabytes Corshair Xtreme Memory. 2x 2GB Dual Chanel, 2x 1GB Dual Chanel.
Nvidia XFX GeForce 8800GTX Extreme x2 In SLI Configuration
150 Gigabyte WD Raptor 10,000 RPM Hard Drive
With Two 1TB external WD Hard Drives - for storage.
    WIndows 7 Ultimate 32bit.
And on board Sound Card with the ASUS Motherboard.

I forgot to add A Asus 22" Monitor and a LG 19" Monitor, running dual screen. 22" main and 19" right side.

I just wanted to tell you to get a 64bit os. Having more than 4gb of ram on a 32bit os is useless 2^32 = 4 gb and is the maximum supported for 32bit.

Game would've been fine, if only AI and stealth actually worked as they supposed to. You can literally crouch in the corner and kill everyone one-by-one, as they come to check up on the body or noise. You can stay behind the door in the dark and no one will see you, even if they stand just infront of you on the other side. You can toss everyone out of the window - they just keep coming and piling up on the streets like dead lemmings.

yea..stealth combat was its USP. without it the game would feel different for guys who've stayed with this game from the very first one.

Alright, I'll weigh in. I am a very dedicated old school Splinter Cell fan, and though I was a little disappointed that a good portion of the original mechanics were removed, I was a fan of Conviction as well. They're two different games. You really can't blame Ubisoft for trying, they wanted a more accessible, action oriented title.

At least we did't get Fisher with emo hair as originally planned.
