Did you try activating it when done loading the game or starting a new one? You can try that and see if it works. Maybe set up the trainer as administrator and see if it changes anything. Just reminding you that trainers alter the memory address (Floats, etc.) and can cause the game to become unstable. I'm sure it will get fixed very soon, just be patient. Even though i'm saying this, i never really used a trainer for M&B. I can easily change my character data and use the built-in cheat to restore health and boost soldier xp.

And if you didn't hear the activation sound, press the key[F1] again until you do. Sometimes i have to when playing games.
