Guys hi, I just got this game and in the very beginning, when he needs to retreive the map and later land I am having trouble, he is able to land on this guy to get the PDA but than when he needs to land finally it is impossible to do so, either he is out of area or is landing wrong place and dying, do you think my copy is defectful? R there any patches? Thanks!
I had trouble with that too, takes a lot of practice with opening and closing the 'chute. Keep trying, you'll get it. When the game tells you how to open the 'chute is when you should open the 'chute. Swing upwards towards the target area.

dude u have to guide him over to the area where u see the red circle and get him into the approximate vicinity. its easy. and thereafter a cutscene follows and and lo-behold u're on the ground.
