first, AVG doesn't let me disable any of my components. second, wouldn't it be easier just to make a new trainer that didn't carry a trojan's signature?

Then AVG is not a good choice for an avid trainer user.
And... no, you can't just 'remove the trojan siganture'. It's not as if there's a line of code in the trainer that proclaims it to be a trojan. AVG fingers it as such because of the way it works, piggybacking on code and inserting different values for certain called-upon variables. (Health, Ammo, Ect.)

i don't know why it's not good for an "avid user" as this is really the only trainer I've ever had a problem with. I mean, look at recent trainers like Serious Sam HD (which doesn't even work, btw) and Bioshock 2 and Dark Void and so on and so on. You know what? forget it. I'll just restore it from the virus vault everytime it quarantines the damned thing. it's an extra step, but so what, problem solved.
