When I hit F1 at the main menu I hear "activated" but when I choose continue I get a run time error message.

Version 1.15 steam on Vista 32 Ultimate.

It crashes the retail version on me as well, i've run the program as administrator and in xp compatibility mode. I'm in windows 7 and no matter what i do the trainer doesn't work.

something must be block you guys beacuse it works fine on my 7x64

That's a good thought, but I have my AV temporarily turned off when trying to run this.

I've also tried running both versions, steam and retail just in case the links got confused,(not likely though )still no luck.

I'm sure the staff will eventually find time to read this, (there are many many threads in this forum) and give us a clue as to what we're getting wrong.

That's also where you can get the CH-Trainer-Customizer that allows me to operate the trainers offered here with my gaming keyboard that doesn't have a number-pad.
