Okay I have NO idea what I'm doing with that editor. I can't seem to get it to make the changes I added. Can I get a step by step on the party thing?
You'll have to descripe alittle more about what party thing also which editor your talking about.
I'm using Morgh's Mount & Blade Warband TXT Tools.
I go into the menu wizard and create a custom party (add in a horse, armor and weapons) but then I get stuck on the party editor to actually have the things I created. I open up the p-custom party but don't know what to do next.
First of all to create a custom Party, you have to make units for it.
How to Create Units
1.
open the troops.txt using Morphs tool.
2.
Now find a proper model, you know from in-game.
3.
Press the 'add ' in the top.
4.
Put in the Values, you want.
TIP!
If you want your units to e.g sometimes have a bow, and sometimes not, DO NOT MARK THE GURANTEED.
Gurantee is why you allways want the units to have.
E.G marking Armor but not boots, will sometimes make your units not wear boots ( if they don't have any it will be ****ed. )
5.
Troops ID = the id you want you troops to be on the list, E.G
Troop ID = trp_Apprentice = The ID
Single = Apprentice = If only one
Plural = Apprentices = If there are more
As far as i've seen Faction doesn't have anything to say.
Proficiencies is generally how good they are with their weapon.
SUGGEST!
I suggest only putting it between 50-400
as increased proficiencies increase damage.
6.
Skills are just like your skill template.
7.
The upper item list is what your troops CAN wear.
IF they should wear it all the time, you can GURANTEE it, as shown in TIP!
8.
Avalible items are basically just what items you can give them.
IMPORTANT
do not make the NPC level lower than the upgrade becouse then it will never become that upgrade.
Implenting the NPC
1.
You got some standard recruits:
Swadian, Rhodok, Nords, Vaegir, Khergit, and Sarranid.
2.
If you select Swadian recruit you can see hes got a 'upgrade path', this is what you can upgrade him too, when hes high enough level to become that unit.
Creating Items:
1.
Select the 'Item_kinds1.txt' Editor
2.
once again, just find the weapon model you want and press add.
3.
the only thing i might need to explain is the 'abundance' option, as far as i've seen the higher it is the more it appears in-game.
TIP!
Making abundance 100-150 is enough.
Please write feed back, also write questions, no questions are dumb.
I already have a party. I'm talking about just adding in weapons and armor to my existing party. Actually just adding stuff to my inventory.
Like the black armor a charger the sniper crossbow and the 50000 denars
