when i try to start dragon age orgins the config tools shows up and crashes how do i fix this?

have you issue with any other game?? as long as your video/audio and direct x are up to date, you should have no issue.
if you have on-board sound, some chipsets will require updated motherboard drivers or even a bios update, but what is the error/crash report you get (assuming you have applied patch v1.03)?

tryed it with both patch 1.0 and 1.03 both config tool crash no problem with other games using usb head set video card is up to date same as motherboard
