I'm not sure about all you other gamers but in my experience, you can never kill a kid in any game you play. I mean most games do not have kids in them but in the ones that do 99% of them you cannot kill children if not the whole 100%. Fallout is the only game set I know of that allows you to at least hurt them. Why is this? And if anyone else knows of a game where you can hurt them or even kill them let me know. I'm not like a serial killer I'm just saying this and would like to know so please help.

They didn't want to get an Adult Only rating, which would hurt the sales (Adult Only games can, of course, only be purchased by adults). It would also be a controversial thing to put in a game.
However, because Fallout 3 lends itself incredibly well to modding, there are mods that allow you to kill children (PC version only).

Heavy Rain, The origami killer goes around drowning children. In Dante's Inferno, You kill a lot of babies. Two example I think of off the top of my head.

im just saying in games like fallout some of the kids at least need a lesson learned and if knocking them out makes them forget everything why cant we kill some of them even if its the ones that have nothing to do with the story mode

Because of australia. This game originally had all types of drugs in it and had cutscenes watching the character take them and all kinds of stuff like that. The Australian board of whatever takes care of rating videogames there refused to rate it and was going to ban it from australia because of the content in it. Bethesda only wanted to release one version of the game, so they cut out all the content like that so it could meet auzzie's M15+ rating.
