I can gather that your download didnt work out from steam, have you tried to redownload and let it install fully when finished?

its the bmans mod that makes the game crash at battle load screen if you dont change any of the setting there you will be fine

if you have changed anything delete the bmaneaseofuse.ini file in the Data folder in the game dir then verify the game thu steam then start your game without changing the bmans mod setting and you will be fine sucks that you cant use the mod but the game will still work

Bought this from Steam a looong time ago and I've never had a problem with it. Never finished it, but played for a good length of time.

Actually, it's one of the few games I've never experienced any kind of crash with.

I've been running into the problem where when I start up the game with the trainer active, that the game crashes almost immediately. I've got Extraterrestrials Gold downloaded from Steam on Windows 7. Hopefully that will help with diagnosis for updates. Without the trainer, the game works just fine from all appearances.

Sadly the trainer is not compatible with the gold edition of the game which is why your crashing while trying to us it the trainer is for 3.0 the gold edition is a different version number
