It says "On Off On Off..." when you press F1, or does it say "On Off On Off..." as soon as you activate an option? (ex. Numpad keys)

    Regardless,

I have had that "On Off" issue when activating options in certain games.

Usually I can resolve it by pressing the activate/deactivate key again. However, I've only encountered the crashing when I use the wrong trainer version. (I'm assuming a c2d, crash-to-desktop)

Try the retail trainers but keep in mind, BFBC2 updates have been coming out quickly, and what worked yesterday might not work today. Especially thanks to the "Auto-Patcher" that will update the game silently (without any prompting windows or questions).
