If I had to use one word: RETARDED!!!!
My only sense of relief was to finally get to shoot the dark one at the very end!!! I was so worn out with the whole "surrender" and "he must be stopped" crap that if was nice to blast away finally.
Isn't this supposed to be a shooter not a freaking maze running puzzle game..........that's is just my two cents.
Well, if you had played with patience and compassion, that Dark One might not seem so dark...
In my opinion. Dark Ones are EVIL and I think Hunter is right.
'If it's hostile, kill it.'
My reason on this? Beings that seeks to LEARN and UNDERSTAND will not boil the others mind or make orange juice out of their head and kill them in hysteria or control the other mutants to attack settlements.
This concludes my case that those Homo Novus (Dark Ones) should get missiles in their face.
EDIT: For the ending part I think the idea is great but kinda bad execution.

For that very same reason, war is a never ending cycle for humanity.
And FYI, they aren't evil. Their methods of communicating are simply different, and once they realized that their psychic means of it had a profoundly negative effect on humans, they started to communicate solely with the player, in an attempt to coexist. The book makes this clear.
