This server-connection DRM is getting cracked on release day, just like every other "anti-piracy" program. The only people getting hurt are the people who buy the game only to find out it does not work.
AC2 still isn't cracked fully, yes with the crack you can run around and explore, but if you try to do missions or advance the story the game crashes as you hit encrypted data.
Ubi's system has the game encrypted so without the server unlocking the game content as you go you are stuck with basically nothing but the open world to run round in.

Was the same with Steam at the beginning.
Now you see steam cracks in 3-4 days or even less.
So you can not play this game unless you have an internet connection like ASSASSIN'S CREED 2 /but does it has to be a hi speed internet ??
Not only u need constant internet connection, u also need HI SPEED internet connection too if u want to enjoy a slick MP game!
In the past, we get a full product with SP capabilty now, all we get just a game that need to be played online & even they now keep OUR SAVE GAME too ?
I am also VERY HATE the STATS mode for OFFLINE CAMPAIGN !
This is ONE of the main reason why EA choose to brought this game to ONLINE MODE since the stats will be much more useful for ONLINE mode !
Thats why they can bother to count every thing while in the same time ruining my gaming exp since I can't play the game without worrying about casualties due to idiotic AI who can't even manage a simple path !
Now even your game time is being LIMITED too, since if u want to play the game in next 5 yrs, u can forget that since I DON'T BELIEVE AT ALL THAT THE SERVER WILL STILL RUNNING WITH FULL CAPACITY !
Maybe if u live in USA, its not a big problem at all, but if u live in some nation like Czech or Singapore or Cameroon or UEA, u can kiss your game bye bye then since I don't believe their international server will still running after 5 yrs...
Maybe if the game is superb, its not a big problem yet the game is so lame while in the same times, its expensive its short its have draconian DRM its have weak lame story U need friends to keep the game fun also its have VERY FEW unit for a FINAL SAGA & 4TH edition of C&C game too... in simple word, a very disappointing game for a $ 50 bucks game !
