I agree with everything you said Lord-Servius.I have been playing the series since the first game was released. The game is basically a dow of war 2clone.As it stands the new generation of gamers just dont like base building. As for DABhand please stop with the attitude in your posts lately.
What attitude? If a person responds to me or lies on the forum ill point it out.
The above post was a debate, there was no attack on anyone from either side. I made my point in the post.
Its quite amazing how people think im attacking when debating, when what I say is true but yet people dont want to think that and will defend their ways. Not saying you are in this category of course.
But even the peeps at Nfohump branded me a Troll of all things, lawl, all because I pointed out the truth to most of their whining. And that is simply, they are whining because this DRM will mean no free games for them.
I would like to see the 4 top groups stop releasing on the PC side for 6 months to 1 year, that will give them something to whine about lol
I agree with most of the people that are complaining about this title. It's not a bad game but it is not a C&C! I pre-ordered a C&C game and I feel I got screwed with this...
Let me summarize quick:
1. No base
2. No harvest
3. A VERY short campaign which lead to a very weird "end"
4. Skirmish map? You just have the missions over and over
5. Grinding to unlock power
6. No way to play if you don't have your internet connection up
That's just 6 reasons that make me feel that EA did a wrong choice by leading the project for Multiplayer RTS addicts. I'm not a good player at RTS, I spent always a lot of time to explore, discover and basically spend two hours on a mission where the good RTS players do it in 15 minutes. I feel sad that EA choosed that "my" kind of gameplay was not anymore something they would provide games for...
I pretty much agree with all of this... It's pathetic when I stop playing a CNC game just so I can have fun playing another. (COD MW2)
I got ripped off.
The main thing about the gameplay that ****es me off is the difficulty is inconsistent. The first mission on nod is a cake walk.. but the second could be hard as hell? Seriously.. >.>
I gave EA the benefit of the doubt.. and they failed to deliver.
