I was wondering if somehow there is a way that
Mhairi will survive the joining?
it stupid for bioware to post a trailer for her and tell she is
a possible companion but then they kill her in the start of the game...

I think its to do with the blood mage at the start? If you let him join I think she dies. Not sure :\ Dont have it yet, im only telling you from what ive read from various people.

I tested the 3 possible choices if the mage get into the joining or not
and in all 3 she dies
didn't test yet if you can say to him to not join your party when
you meet him but I'm pretty sure it wont help either
I need answer from some one who does have Mhairi alive or
tested every possible situation.

I also tried today not letting mage join my party and he does anyway before the boss fight. I also when offered did not let the dwarf become a warder thinking it might be because I already had a fighter each other time (him). This did not work also. Not sure what the answer is yet.

On the Bioware web forums many posts stating no matter what choice you make the char will always die.

Weird, I hear she has an approval rating with you. Why would they let you get a bit of approval if she dies.

Unless she lives from a saved character or some choice made in the first game?

more likely she will be revived somewhere in the game
or something like that because it is stupid to tell that
she is a possible companion and make a trailer for her and then
kill her... there will be alot of screaming if people will find out
that she is not a possible companion (30min does not count
as a companion)

I have to say, Thus far I did a few quests into it - And their is only one other party member that I have gotten outside the castle, and So far nothing about her :/ I think she is dead - I tried everything to keep her and she just kept dieing so...


I also made it so the dwarf buggered off and she still died :/ so .
